Bucharest, June 25, 2025

SN Nuclearelectrica SA announces that on June 25, 2025, in the administrative part of Cernavoda NPP site, was a smoke release, without flame, in a room of the Administrative Pavilion.

The source of the smoke release has been identified and managed, currently there is no related risk.

The release of smoke in the Administrative Pavilion of the Cernavoda NPP site had no impact on nuclear safety, personnel, environment or production.

Both units of Cernavoda NPP are operating at normal parameters.
