Return to nominal power of Cernavodă NPP Unit 2

SN Nuclearelectrica SĂ announces that Unit 2 of Cernavodă NPP returned to nominal power on the morning of November 29, 2025, after a power reduction on the evening of November 28, 2025 (announced through current report on Bucharest Stock Exchange platform).

The power reduction occurred due to the triggering of a feedwater pump in the conventional part of the plant, the cause being remedied by Cernavodă NPP specialists.

The power reduction and repair works in the conventional part of the plant had no impact on nuclear safety, personnel, or the population, and was carried out in accordance with the applicable procedures of CNE Cernavodă.
