Mihai Laurențiu Gioară
Mihai Laurențiu Gioară has over 12 years of experience in the energy sector. During this time, he has held leadership positions (Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer) and advisory roles (advisor, expert) in leading Romanian energy companies: Electrocentrale București, Compania Municipală Energetica București, Nuclearelectrica Serv S.R.L., and Societatea Națională Nuclearelectrica S.A. (SNN).
At SNN, he served as Director of Development and Portfolio Management. In this role, he coordinated the development of the company’s major investment projects and provided direct support to the refurbishment of Unit 1 at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant.
His professional training includes an MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) – INPO (Institute of Nuclear Power Operations) executive program in nuclear reactor technology, focused on reactor systems, nuclear safety, and international regulatory frameworks.
