SN Nuclearelectrica SA has developed and maintains an Overall Quality Management System that complies\u00a0with the provisions in force of law 111\/1996 and with\u00a0the applicable Quality Management Requirements in\u00a0the nuclear field issued by the National Commission\u00a0for Nuclear Activities Control (CNCAN) and the IAEA GS-R-3 Standard. SNN\u2019s headquarters Management System is authorized by the National\u00a0Commission for Nuclear Activities Control (CNCAN) to\u00a0perform management activities in the nuclear field. The\u00a0authorization was renewed in 2013 (Authorization No.\u00a0SNN EX- 01\/2013).\u00a0The Quality Management System applied by SNN SA,\u00a0described in the Manual of Quality Management System,\u00a0identifies the directions of developing and implementing\u00a0the management system within SNN Executive and\u00a0its branches: the Cernavoda NPP and the Nuclear\u00a0Fuel Plant-Pitesti. The development and evaluation of\u00a0the Management System (MS) is coordinated by the\u00a0Department for the Development and Evaluation of the\u00a0Management Systems (DDESM).
The branches Cernavoda NPP and FCN Pitesti have\u00a0developed and maintain management systems specific to\u00a0their activities.\u00a0Cernavoda NPP subsidiary has developed and\u00a0implemented an Integrated Management System which\u00a0complies with the provisions in force of Law 111\/1996\u00a0and with CNCAN\u2019s Management System Requirements,\u00a0with IAEA\u2019s GS-R-3 Standard and with the international\u00a0standards ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2008 and\u00a0ISO 27001:2005.<\/p>

The Cernavoda NPP\u2019s management\u00a0system is authorized by CNCAN in compliance with the\u00a0provisions of law 111\/1996 for operation, design, supply,\u00a0repair and maintenance works in the nuclear field as per the\u00a0Authorization for the quality\u00a0management system no. SNN CNE Cernavoda \u2013 01\/2015.<\/p>

The requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 standard\u00a0(for the Environment Management System) and of SR OHSAS 18001:2008 standard (for the Occupational\u00a0Safety and Health Management System) are included\u00a0in the documents of the Cenavoda NPP\u2019s Integrated\u00a0Management System, while the compliance with these\u00a0requirements is recertified by the certification authority\u00a0\u2013 SRAC in 2013. Also, the requirements of the ISO\u00a027001\/2008 standard for the Management System of the\u00a0Security of Information are included in the documents of\u00a0the Integrated Management System of Cernavoda NPP,\u00a0the compliance with these requirements being recertified\u00a0by the certification authority DNV at the end of 2014.\u00a0In the year 2015, SRAC and DNV performed surveillance\u00a0audits that confirmed the requirements of the standards\u00a0ISO 14001:2004, SR OHSAS 18001:2007 namely ISO\u00a027001:2008 are accordingly implemented, the certificates\u00a0being maintained.<\/p>

The above-mentioned issues are\u00a0sustained by the remarkable results obtained in operating\u00a0Cernavod\u0103 Units 1 and 2 during the year 2015.<\/p>

FCN Pitesti has developed and implemented an\u00a0Integrated Management System that complies with the\u00a0provisions of law 111\/1996 and CNCAN\u2019s Management\u00a0Requirements also integrating the requirements of the\u00a0Canadian standard CAN 3-Z299.2-8.<\/p>

The structure of the\u00a0Quality Management System is authorized by CNCAN\u00a0through the Authorization number 14-038 for manufacturing in the nuclear field, as per class 2 application of the quality management system. The component \u201cEnvironment Management\u00a0System\u201d developed in accordance with the requirements\u00a0of ISO 14001:2004 standards was certified by SRAC in\u00a02013. The component \u201cOccupational Health and Safety\u00a0Management System\u201d (SMSSO) was certified by SRAC in 2013. The component of the Integrated Management\u00a0System for Health and Occupational Security, developed\u00a0according to the standard OHSAS 18001:2007, was\u00a0certified by SRAC Cert in 2013.\u00a0In 2015 SRAC performed a surveillance audit that\u00a0confirmed that FCN Pitesti subsidiary accordingly implemented the requirements of the two standards, the\u00a0certificates being maintained.\u00a0Besides, other components of the Integrated\u00a0Management System are developed and implemented\u00a0as well (for example Physical Protection, Radiological\u00a0Safety, Nuclear warranties, etc.). The development and\u00a0implementation of the components of FCN Integrated\u00a0Management System decisively contributed to the\u00a0nuclear fuel quality proved by a very good combustion\u00a0degree and zero failure rate.<\/p>
