Nuclearelectrica SA (\u201cSNN\u201d) announces that today, during the afternoon, at 16:38 hours, Cernavoda NPP Unit 1 automatically disconnected from the National Power Grid (\u201cSEN\u201d) following a false signal which triggered one of the turbine systems (bearing), on the classical part of the power plant.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the exact cause which lead to the automatic reactor trip is being analysed, and subsequently, the remediation and reconnection of Unit 1 to SEN procedures will be initiated.<\/p>\n<p>These activities have no adverse impact on the personnel, the population and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>CEO<\/p>\n<p>Cosmin Ghita<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bucharest 23 July 2018 Press release \u00a0 S.N.
