Nuclearelectrica SA (\u201cSNN\u201d) announces that Cernavoda NPP Unit 1 was reconnected to the National Power Grid during the night of 24 July 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Unit 1 automatically disconnected from SEN in the afternoon of 23 July 2018, 16:28 hours, following a false signal which triggered one of the turbine systems (bearing), on the classical part of the power plant.<\/p>\n<p>Following the analysis, Cernavoda NPP specialists established that the false signal was caused by a weakened connection on the surveillance segment.<\/p>\n<p>The repair works had no adverse impact on the personnel, the population and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cosmin Ghita<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CEO<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bucharest, 24 July 2018 &nbsp; Press release S.N.
