{"id":34548,"date":"2021-06-15T10:17:07","date_gmt":"2021-06-15T07:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuclearelectrica.ro\/?p=34548"},"modified":"2025-02-24T13:47:53","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T13:47:53","slug":"event-at-cernavoda-npp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuclearelectrica.ro\/snn\/en\/2021\/06\/15\/event-at-cernavoda-npp\/","title":{"rendered":"Event at Cernavoda NPP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\">PRESS RELEASE<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bucharest, 15 June 2021<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SN Nuclearelectrica SA announces that on 15.06.2021, on Cernavoda NPP Platform, outside of the nuclear-instalation (the non-radiological area), at the clorination station, slight losses of chlorine occurred following the malfunction of a chlorine recipient.<\/p>\n<p>The situation was remedied immediately in compliance with the applicable procedures of the power plant and the space was ventilated. A worker performing specific procedures at the chlorination station and who was iside the facility when the malfunction occurred, was transported to the hospital for investigation, being outside any danger.<\/p>\n<p>The event did not have an adverse impact on nuclear safety, environment protection and population.
