(\u201cSNN\u201d) informs that the works related to the planned outage of Cernavoda NPP Unit 2 were completed. The synchronization with the National Power System was performed during the morning of June 2<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Unit 2 entered the planned outage program on May 8<sup>th<\/sup> 2015 in order to complete the planned maintenance works, which are performed once every two years for each unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0During the planned outage, the following activities were carried out:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Preventive and corrective maintenance program;<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory inspections program;<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory testing program, in compliance with CNCAN\u2019s requirements, that can be performed only during an outage period;<\/li>\n<li>Project changes implementation program on certain systems\/equipment\/components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">All the objectives assumed during the planned outage were accomplished under safe conditions for the plant personnel, public and environment, in accordance with the procedures applied by Cernavoda NPP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Daniela Lulache<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>CEO<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Press release &nbsp; Societatea Nationala Nuclearelectrica S.A.
