Nuclearelectrica and Valahia University Launch\u00a0 the Advanced Technologies for the Nuclear Industry <\/em>Master\u2019s Program<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/strong>Bucharest, April 17, 2026<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/strong>Nuclearelectrica and Valahia University in T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te have established, within the field of master\u2019s studies in energy engineering, the master\u2019s program Advanced Technologies for the Nuclear Industry<\/em>, which will be available starting \u00a0the 2026\u20132027 academic year.<\/strong><\/p>

The master\u2019s program consists of 120 transferable credits and will be taught in English. The objective of establishing this master\u2019s program is to capitalize on the opportunity to develop specialists in advanced nuclear technologies for the nuclear industry, small modular reactors, in essence, the concrete implementation of an educational opportunity that will lead to the training of a generation of specialists in advanced technologies, capable of supporting, through applied specialization, the implementation and operation of these technologies in the medium and long term.<\/p>

The development of the small modular reactor project in Doice\u0219ti creates the framework for training new nuclear energy specialists at the national level, thereby enabling Romania to position itself advantageously in a field of major European and international interest\u2014achieving economies of scale in the commercial use of advanced nuclear technologies.<\/p>
