The “Nucleu de bine” social responsibility platform follows the company’s strategic directions and vision to build a sustainable future for the next generation, through the major investment projects it runs, which will significantly increase the positive impact of the company in Romania and at the regional level, through the team that works to the highest standards of professional excellence, nuclear safety and security, through care for employees, responsibility for the environment and empathy for the communities that need support.
“Romania needs a Core of Good. We are committed to contributing to the energy security of our country by delivering clean, in-band, stable and affordable energy. Since the commissioning of Units 1 and 2 at CNE Cernavoda, at the end of 2023, we have produced 225 million MWh of clean energy and avoided the release of 215 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Thus, we have an essential role both in ensuring energy security and in reaching decarbonization targets. The Nucleu de Bine platform continues our mission to generate clean energy at excellent standards, in terms of social responsibility, to build a sustainable future for tomorrow’s generation.”
